Student Safety

At ML Tutoring, student safety is paramount, and we take all necessary steps to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

All of our tutors are mandated reporters and have passed national background checks, including SSN Trace, Sex Offender Registry check, and Global Watchlist Records. Additionally, we verify National Criminal Records and conduct reference checks to further ensure that all of our tutors are trustworthy and reliable.

We have a comprehensive photo policy in place for student safety; our tutors are not allowed to take any photos or screenshots that contain a student's full name or image without prior written parent/guardian consent. This ensures students and families are protected and their privacy is respected.

While COVID vaccines are not required, parents and students are welcome to wear masks during in-person individual tutoring sessions or small group tutoring sessions, and are free to request that our tutors wear masks as well. Additionally, our tutors are encouraged to reschedule sessions if they are experiencing any undesirable symptoms; temporary or permanent virtual tutoring is always an excellent alternative.
